Sidney by the Sea is a quaint town offering you all the services you need to provision your boat. It is also a great town to get ashore, stretch your legs and explore the many small shops, bakery, coffee shops or the Thursday market during the summer months.
Anchorage- Sidney is not the greatest place to anchor a boat but if the weather is going to be calm, you can anchor just north of the public wharf.
- Sidney Spit - mooring balls or anchor off the beach but beware of being exposed to the north and south and also of getting caught in the eel grass.

- Government at the end of Beacon on the left side
- Dickens Liquor Store at the end of Beacon on the right side next to McDonalds
- Good crabbing can be done of the pier or at Sidney Spit. At the spit, try crabbing in 60 - 80 feet of water to get the bigger crabs.
