Pender Island

Pender Island has a few different options on where to anchor or dock.  Probably the most popular is Bedwell Harbour and specifically Poets Cove Marina & Resort.  Poets Cover Marina & Resort has two pools, a hot tub, games such as basketball, tennis, and ping pong available for free.

Moorage

• Bedwell Harbour to the north near the cliffs (very busy in the summer)

Anchorage

• Bedwell Harbour - Deep water but good hold in stiff mud.  Exposed to waves from freighters.
• Bedwell Harbour - Medicine Beach - Anchor off the beach
• Port Browning - Off Hamilton Beach in the SW or to the E of the public wharf.  Exposed to the SE

• Poets Cove Marina has numerous activities, spa, hot tub and pools.
• Crabbing can be done right off the dock.
• Great areas for hiking, paddling or a walk along the beach.
• Medical services.
• Post Office.
• Bank.
• Gas station.
• Marine mechanic.
