Galiano Island
Galiano Island is home of Montague Harbour. This is an incredibly beautiful and popular destination in the summer months. The beach at the north end has beautiful sand.
Moorage- Mooring balls are available at the north end of the bay.
- Anchor anywhere in the bay, good holding in mud.
- Marine Park - boats under 23 ft.
- Public Wharf - rafting allowed
- Montague Harbour Marina - Fuel - 250-539-5733
- Take the fun bus to the Hummingbird Pub, ask the marina for directions and time to catch.
- There is a great restaurant at the Montague Marina that is very popular.
- Montague Harbour Marina operates a general store with basic supplies.
- Take the fun bus, there is a large store near the pub.
- Go Galiano Island Shuttle - 250-539-0202
- Fun bus to the Hummingbird Pub (they'll let you visit the grocery store if you go to the pub)
- I haven't really had any luck here but there are crab traps set at the south entrance to Montague Harbour so I suspect if they are there, that's where you'll catch them.
